54 air miles northeast of Ear Falls, Ontario, Latreille
Lake Lodge is accessible only by float plane. All
advertised prices are based on chartered float-plane rides
originating from Excellent
Adventures in Ear Falls, Ontario. (Excellent Adventures
provides all transportation and daily support for the Lodge.)
The American Plan does not include ground
transportation to and from Ear Falls. Guests must make arrangements
with commercial airlines and/or ground transportation providers.
We can help with arrangements if there is sufficient time.
Common Routes to Latreille Lake Lodge
There are several common routes to Latreille
Lake Lodge:
Via International Falls: International
Falls is serviced by a commuter airline owned and operated
by Northwest Airlines. From International Falls, guests
either rent vehicles, charter vans or buses to Ear Falls,
Ontario, or pick up a float
plane based in Fort Frances and fly directly to Latreille
Lake.
Via Winnipeg: Northwest Airlines and Air
Canada service Winnipeg via direct flights from Minneapolis,
Denver, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Atlanta. Bearskin
Airlines, a commuter airline based in Winnipeg, services
Red Lake and Kenora.
Via Kenora: Northwest Airlines will also
provide seasonal (summer) service between Minneapolis and
Kenora. Kenora is only about 100 miles southwest of Ear
Falls. We will make arrangements to pick up guests at float
plane origination points other than Ear Falls. Additional
charges will apply for guests picked up at origination points
other than Ear Falls.
